Small Acts.
Big Change.

The Ripple Project is a youth-led nonprofit built on one powerful idea: a small act of kindness can travel farther than we may ever see.

Our Story

Leadership can begin at any age.

The Ripple Project was founded by Julieta Ailey, a teenager who wanted to turn leadership, compassion, and a desire to serve into meaningful action.

Julieta believes young people do not have to wait until adulthood to make a difference. They can lead now. Through service projects, acts of kindness, community outreach, and collaboration, The Ripple Project seeks to help people feel seen, supported, and valued.

The goal is not only to help one person at a time, but to inspire other young people to discover that they too have something meaningful to give.

“One act creates another. One person inspires another. One small ripple can become a wave of change.”

— The Ripple Project

Why “Ripple”?

The meaning behind our name

A ripple is a small wave that spreads across water after something touches its surface. The point of contact may be tiny, but the circles continue moving outward.

That is the idea behind The Ripple Project. A care package, a kind note, a meal, an hour of volunteering, a donation, or simply choosing to help someone can start something much larger than the original act.

Kindness starts small. Impact keeps moving.

Purpose

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To create positive impact through small acts of service, compassion, and generosity that bring hope, support, and meaningful moments to people and communities in need. We especially aim to inspire children and teenagers to discover their power to serve, lead, and create change.

Our Vision

To build a community where kindness inspires more kindness and where a new generation understands that leadership also means service. We envision every project creating a ripple effect: helping one person, inspiring another, and multiplying positive impact.

From the Founder

A message from Julieta

“I want young people to know that we do not have to wait until we are older to make a difference. Leadership is not only about titles or recognition—it is about what we do with the opportunities we have and the impact we leave on the people around us.”

“My hope is that every person who becomes part of The Ripple Project—whether as a volunteer, donor, partner, or supporter—helps create something that keeps growing.”
